Reviews and Ratings
I had a lovely overnight stay at the Suncliff Hotel with a nice upgrade to a sea view room and balcony. The dining experience featured a delicious three-course meal and a great breakfast the next morning. However, the evening entertainment seemed more suited for an older crowd, and some facilities felt a bit dated. Overall, it was a great value for a pleasant stay.
We had a lovely experience enjoying a Sunday lunch at the hotel. The food was excellent, especially the carvery with a great selection of meats. The ambiance felt both posh and romantic, making it ideal for couples. However, the service wasn't perfect during our last visit, as some meals were below expectations and the atmosphere felt quieter than usual. Overall, it was a memorable experience but not without its hiccups.
Our stay started a bit rocky with a shabby room and unexpected parking fees, but after speaking with the helpful staff, we were moved to a much nicer refurbished room. The location was great for exploring town and the beach, which was a highlight for us. Dining options were a bit pricier than expected, and the breakfast service could have been more efficient, but overall, it was a decent getaway with some enjoyable moments.
The hotel provided a pleasant stay with its clean rooms and friendly staff, making it a great base for a seaside escape. The large indoor pool was a highlight, though be prepared for potential crowds during busy times. Dining was satisfactory with good value for half board; however, the Wi-Fi was a letdown as it didn’t reach my room. Parking can be quite challenging, especially during events.
I had a lovely stay at the hotel, mainly due to its great location and the cleanliness of the pool area, which made it very enjoyable. The family room was excellent, spacious enough for all of us. However, I was quite disappointed with the breakfast experience as the options were lacking and not replenished well. Additionally, there was a parking fee that I felt should have been included in the price.
